Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Connells Group. As a key member of our People Services Administration team, you will provide timely and effective administrative support to our colleagues, ensuring a positive experience at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality administrative support to designated business units, providing colleagues with a positive experience at all times.
  • Ensure all written documentation, including emails, letters, and contracts, is accurate and meets the required standards.
  • Complete administrative tasks within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and deadlines.
  • Take ownership of queries and issues, resolving them in a timely and professional manner, and keeping the team leader informed where necessary.
  • Quality-check transactions and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with SLAs.
  • Process completed forms, ensuring appropriate levels of authorization are obtained before any contractual changes are actioned.
  • Have a good understanding of the Right to Work process and UK legislation.
  • Apply a good working knowledge of systems to answer queries and resolve problems from colleagues.
  • Have a keen eye for detail, particularly in relation to inputting data, drafting contractual documents, and checking team members' work.
  • Be flexible in your approach to support other team members within the wider HR team as needed.
  • Take ownership of tasks and see them through to resolution.
  • Proactively diarize stakeholder engagement calls to build relationships with the business and receive great feedback.
  • Take turns leading on the daily huddles.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and grammatical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience of an administrative role.
