Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our specialist acute inpatient mental health service and outreach team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of our new service implementation, working closely with clinicians and individuals with lived experience.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and delivering the clinical and operational model for our service, ensuring high-quality care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

A partnership between Avon and Wiltshire Partnership (AWP) and SW NHSE is transforming end-to-end pathways in the region. Our goal is to establish a centre of excellence, providing excellent care for people with learning disabilities and autistic individuals.

We will support you in developing your knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities, as part of our expanding expertise in learning disabilities and neurodiversity within AWP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the clinical and operational model for the inpatient service.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and individuals with lived experience to design and develop services.
  • Leverage your leadership skills to deliver high-quality care and achieve our vision for excellence.

Salary:

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
