Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our ASD Base team at Avenue Primary Academy. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the individual needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to provide classroom assistance, implement specialized learning strategies, facilitate social interactions, and offer personalized support to ensure the academic and personal growth of each student.

Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • Experience working with students with ASD or similar needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
