Position Overview:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with our dedicated educational team to support and uplift our learners with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of tailored education plans (TEPs) for students.
  • Provide individualized support and mentorship to students with diverse requirements.
  • Work alongside the teaching staff to develop and modify educational resources.
  • Encourage a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Track and document student development and behavior.
  • Assist students with personal care needs when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:
To thrive in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Prior experience with children who have special educational needs is highly preferred.
  • A sincere enthusiasm for working with children and aiding them in reaching their potential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Patience, compassion, and adaptability to various learning styles.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education, child development, or similar fields are beneficial.

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

  • Have prior experience in the SEN sector.
  • Possess an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference verifications.
  • Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where feasible.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
