Hard Services Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hard Services Manager to join our team at HVAC Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of works, compiling quotations, and ensuring compliance with contractual processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Site Manager to deliver a variety of tasks and projects.
  • Compile and submit quotations for materials and services, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and produce Safe Systems of Work to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain safe plant and places of work, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Supervise and manage work activities, ensuring effective planning, management, and supervision.
  • Review and update safety documentation as necessary to ensure control measures remain suitable and relevant.
  • Complete reports and paperwork as instructed by the Facilities Manager.

Requirements:

  • Strong civil, electrical, and mechanical background with relevant qualifications.
  • Hold a valid CSCS card and SMSTS or equivalent.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current industry standards, including CDM, Temporary Works, HSG47, LOLER, and PUWER.
  • Able to conduct surveys throughout client sites.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Hard Services Manager to take on a new role with a leading FM provider in Europe. The contract is for a significant period, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a high-security government decommissioning site.
