About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SARC Manager to join our team at Mountain Healthcare. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering safe and effective services to victims of sexual assault, meeting national and local targets in relation to rape and sexual assault.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience as a Registered Nurse (NMC) and possess excellent communication skills, strong judgement, and analysis. They will also be trained in venepuncture and have awareness of SARC commissioning.

The role will involve managing a multi-agency centre and services, developing a strategic vision for the service, and ensuring changes meet internal and external expectations and budgetary constraints. The SARC Manager will also be responsible for the management of all employees associated with the SARC.

As an organisation that 'does the right thing', we believe you will be empowered to make a difference. The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check, two satisfactory references, and Police vetting NVVP Level 2 checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver safe and effective services to victims of sexual assault

Requirements

  • Ability to work flexibly, including on-call shifts and travel to SARC's as required
