NFU Mutual is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Risk Management Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the Loss Control department, you will play a critical role in reducing renewable energy risk and losses within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed surveys of complex renewable energy risks to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Provide expert guidance to underwriting and other stakeholders on renewable energy-related matters.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and standards to ensure NFU Mutual remains at the forefront of the renewable energy sector.
  • Head up and implement programs to enhance the understanding and skills of Loss Control surveyors, Underwriting, and Agency colleagues in renewable energy.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong background in renewable energy technologies and associated legislative requirements. Your extensive knowledge and experience in providing detailed technical advice and guidance will be invaluable in this position.

You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
