We are seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant to join our Environmental Management Practice at Geosyntec Consultants, Inc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in environmental consulting, with expertise in site investigation & remediation projects and regulatory compliance work. You will be responsible for managing national and international clients across various sectors, including energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, food and beverage, automation, and healthcare industries.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, along with the passion for technical excellence and quality. They will also have experience working on demanding, sophisticated, and legally sensitive projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing outstanding service to clients, leading to sole source new work opportunities and expanded relationships.
  2. Assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, monitoring budgets against plans, and procuring necessary resources.
  3. Managing all work on assigned projects to meet contract requirements, appropriate regulations, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
  4. Acting as a Project Director, when designated, to assist Project Managers in achieving scope, schedule, budget, and health and safety requirements.
  5. Identifying and developing new technical competencies to support market/practice diversification, especially in the ESG sphere.
  6. Supporting and participating in the company's health and safety program by enforcing standards, regulations, and procedures.
  7. Management and delivery of site investigation & remediation projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or a similar field of study (required).
  • Advanced degree in a similar field of study (preferred).
  • At least 8 years (10+ preferred) of experience in the environmental consulting sector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
