Job Title: Principal Environmental Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Environmental Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Noise, Air Quality, Lighting and Odour (NALO) team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering environmental noise and vibration, building acoustics, occupational noise and hygiene, air quality and microclimate, environmental lighting and right of light, and odour projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate project teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects
  • Develop and implement monitoring plans, including organizing team members, equipment, and site access
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including troubleshooting noise and air quality equipment issues
  • Compile and present technical monitoring reports, including results and recommendations
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet their needs
  • Contribute to business development and growth through fee proposals, tender writing, and project management
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent in a relevant field, such as environmental science, acoustics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in noise and air quality, building acoustics, occupational noise and hygiene, air quality and microclimate, environmental lighting and right of light, and odour
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to use technical equipment on the field with minimum supervision
  • Full, valid UK driving license
