Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Apprentice to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As an IT Support Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in resolving technical issues, working with cutting-edge technology, and developing your skills in essential areas such as organization, prioritization, data analysis, problem-solving techniques, teamwork, communication, and presentation.

You will work towards the Information Communications Technician (Support Technician pathway) apprenticeship Level 3 standard over an 18-month period. Your development will include virtual classroom training, on-the-job training in an Amazon Fulfilment Centre, online learning, and mentoring from IT team members.

During your apprenticeship, you will also attend workshops covering topics such as core ICT principles, networking fundamentals, Windows operating systems, AWS Cloud Modern Workplace Administration, and advanced IT principles.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be flexible with your working hours and shift patterns to provide cover for operational requirements. You must have a strong understanding of Maths and English, with 3 GCSE's at grade 4-9 (A-C) or above.

Salary: £23,500 per annum
