HR Administrator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our HR team at Smart Currency Group. As an HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of our talent across the group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administration: Manage HR systems, including updating employee profiles, creating new employee records, and implementing contractual changes.
  • HR Communication: Monitor and maintain the HR mailbox, provide advice to employees and line managers, and take ownership of the HR newsletter.
  • HR Audits: Conduct regular audits of HR data to ensure accuracy and support the end-of-year financial audit.
  • HR Administration: Refine existing HR processes, maintain employee records, and ensure absence processes are followed.
  • Payroll, Benefits, and Invoicing: Run payroll, manage family-friendly leave, and track company incentives.
  • Leavers Process: Administer the leavers process, conduct exit interviews, and record findings.
  • Systems Administration: Update employee records in the CRM and conduct annual DBS checks.
  • Charity: Administer and champion company-supported charity events and initiatives.
  • Onboarding: Draft and issue offer and contract paperwork, implement the new starter administrative process, and track probation management.
  • Employee Welfare: Conduct welfare conversations, promote the Employee Assistance Programme, and train line managers on welfare conversations.
  • Benefits: Promote and advertise employee benefits and ensure all employees understand them.
  • Office Administration: Support with office administration when the Office Administrator is out of the business.
  • Performance Management: Attend performance reviews and take notes in disciplinaries/performance meetings.
Requirements:
  • At least 5-7 years of HR administration experience.
  • Strong focus on customer service.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and administrative skills.
