About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietitian to join our team in a community-based role at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 Tier 3 Weight Management Dietitian, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients requiring dietetic support on their weight loss journey via various methods: one-to-one clinics and groups, delivered face-to-face and remotely, using evidence-based practice and behavior change techniques.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage a caseload of patients requiring dietetic support on their weight loss journey.
  2. Deliver one-to-one clinics and group sessions at various clinic sites across Barnsley.
  3. Work in partnership with other health professionals to provide holistic patient care.
  4. Participate in education & staff development, clinical supervision, and the appraisal process.
  5. Contribute to the delivery of dietetic student training.

The successful candidate will have a BSc/MSc or Post-graduate Diploma in Dietetics, registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and experience of working in a therapy setting across the health community (inpatients and outpatients). A commitment to professional and personal development is essential, as well as adaptability and flexibility around working times and practices including evening and weekend work where necessary. The salary for this role is £25,819 - £33,786 per annum (£20,144 - £27,551 without London weighting), and the location is various clinic sites across Barnsley.
