IT Security Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Compliance Specialist to join our team at Grant Thornton International Ltd.
This is an exciting opportunity to support our internal cybersecurity assessment programme, monitoring our global network of Member Firms for compliance against our information security framework.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with IT assurance engagement teams across the GT network to implement the cybersecurity compliance programme.
- Review data and evidence obtained in the field, ensuring completeness, consistency, and clarity.
- Evaluate cybersecurity risks and advise on risk mitigation activities.
- Engage with compliance colleagues, Technology and Business leaders, delivering reporting material and presentations.
- Track and coordinate follow-up remediation cycles for firms with findings of non-compliance.
- Drive programme developments and improvements for future assessment cycles.
- Respond to firm enquiries and manage mailbox communications.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on various security topics.
- Develop guides, templates, and other materials to support security standard implementation.
- Research security best practices and provide relevant reporting.
As an IT Security Compliance Specialist at Grant Thornton International, you will enjoy a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, reflecting your exceptional skills and experience.

Requirements- Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably within a security compliance assurance or auditing position.
- Prior experience with regulatory requirements and assurance processes, including NIST and ISO27001.
- Analytical skills to collect, analyse, and interpret information and/or data into useful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to initiate and lead conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varying workload.
