Weddings and Events Manager

CGC Event Caterers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Weddings and Events Manager to join our team at The Sun Pavillion. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional events and ensuring the highest standards of catering, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Event Management: Lead the management and staff team in the delivery of professional, efficient, and cost-effective catering operations at The Sun Pavillion and other venues as required.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all events are delivered to the highest standards of catering, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Achieve operating targets, KPIs, and tasks to support the company's overall objectives.
- Reporting and Administration: Complete event day flash reports, monthly forecast reporting, and ensure event billing is completed and submitted promptly.
- Team Management: Line manage the Sun Pavilions wedding and event coordinator and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide and promote excellent customer service, acting as an ambassador for the company.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of CGC Event Caterers are adhered to at all times.
- Experience: At least 5 years' experience within the Events/Hospitality Management industry, ideally in a similar role involving leading a team.
- Financial Awareness: Financially aware with knowledge of catering budgets, margins, cost of sales, and fixed and variable costs.
- Qualifications: Minimum level 2 Food Hygiene qualifications and knowledge (current certificates). Willing to work towards level 3.
- Personal Qualities: Ambitious and self-motivated individual, able to work under pressure to deliver excellent results.
- Transportation: A full clean driving licence is required, along with own transport.
