Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager to provide maternity leave cover for 14 months. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape HR strategies across the EMEA region, supporting Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Caspian. You will work closely with the regional leadership team and the CHRO, delivering key HR functions, and employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring policy compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • General HR Support
    • Provide comprehensive HR support to EMEA based offices and employees.
    • Lead and manage HR & Talent Acquisition team of 5, ensuring efficient HR service delivery.
    • Act as an escalation point for employee queries and complex HR matters.
  • Policy & Compliance
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards by preparing EMEA audits.
    • Regularly review and update HR policies and employee contracts to meet legal requirements.
    • Offer guidance to ensure adherence to HR procedures and statutory compliance.
  • Strategic HR Leadership
    • Partner with the leadership team on HR reporting, budget planning, and forecasting.
    • Drive strategic people priorities and work with managers to meet performance and development targets (KPIs, reviews, and goals).
    • Monitor key HR metrics and completion rates across the region, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations.
  • Rewards & Benefits
    • Manage pay change, promotion and role change requests and ensure accurate and timely processing.
    • Oversee the renewal and management of internal benefits packages, including benchmarking against market standards.
  • Change Management
    • Support any office openings, closures, restructures, or mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
    • Implement and monitor strategic change initiatives, including M&A integration, ensuring alignment with business objectives and effective communication.
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management
    • Partner with managers to guide performance reviews, providing advice and support to ensure follow-up actions are completed and development plans are put into practice.

  • Talent Development & Recruitment
    • Lead the internal recruitment process, partnering with managers to identify talent needs, supporting internal mobility, and ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
    • Facilitate talent planning, including succession planning and career development, ensuring the region's future talent pipeline is robust.
    • Oversee the onboarding and induction process for new internal hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive integration into the company culture.
  • Engagement & Culture
    • Champion employee engagement initiatives across the region.
    • Analyse employee engagement surveys and collaborate with managers to implement meaningful improvements, driving alignment with the company's people strategy.
    • Implement group-wide initiatives such as leadership coaching and succession planning programmes.
Requirements
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • HR experience in a similar role, preferably within a related industry (staffing, professional services etc).
  • Sound understanding of business HR practices and regional employment laws.
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards a similar certification.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and manage change effectively.
  • Comfortable with financial information and HR reporting systems.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
