About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as an NHS Specialist Physiotherapist. As a clinical leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services and promoting best practice within the musculoskeletal specialty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training, education, supervision, and appraisal for staff and students across all musculoskeletal service delivery areas.
  • Contribute to the development of professional practice and the transformation and evaluation of service delivery.
  • Support research and innovation agenda.
  • Work collaboratively with the Physiotherapy Clinical Lead and consultant physiotherapists to develop and implement clinical strategies.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Diploma/ Degree in physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Advanced accredited training at masters level or equivalent.
  • Accredited post graduate specialist courses/ training relevant to role.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • MSc within relevant specialty.
  • Post-graduate qualification up to post grad diploma level in relevant area.
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification.
  • IRMER Trained.
  • Injection therapy qualification.
  • Competency as non-medical referrer.
  • Qualified sonographer.
  • Relevant leadership courses/ qualifications.
