Housing Support Worker - Youth Homelessness Support

Location: Yeovil

Salary: £23,634 per annum

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

We are a leading youth homelessness organisation seeking a Housing Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Yeovil. In this role, you will work closely with young people at risk of homelessness or those who have already experienced it, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve independence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to help young people meet their accommodation, financial, and social needs.
  • Assist them with independent living skills, from managing rent and debts to maintaining health and well-being.
  • Encourage positive community integration and support their access to education, training, or employment.
  • Safeguard young people and ensure their safety, while reducing risks and improving outcomes.

  • You are non-judgemental, empathetic, and approachable.
  • You have good written, IT, and communication skills.
