We are seeking an experienced Embedded Design Engineer to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle of electronic hardware design and embedded software development across a range of products and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Design authority for all PCB designs for current and future projects
- Decision-making authority working closely with the engineering and project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
- Fault finding customer machines and designing/building test rigs as required
- Writing, reviewing, and bug fixing code written in C
- PCB schematic, layout, and firmware design experience using Altium and C
- Strong understanding of embedded software development and electronics hardware design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
