Payroll Specialist

Join Insignis as a Payroll Specialist and be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering end-to-end payroll processes for the main Airbus divisions in the UK. As a key member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely running of all divisional payrolls, from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records for all divisions.
- Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies or misbalances, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
- Provide expert advice and support to the HR and Payroll processing teams on complex payroll issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HMRC, ensuring timely and accurate remittances for all third parties.
- Administer the contractual benefits for the executive population, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and deliver the share scheme administration for all divisions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Identify and implement process improvements, engaging with key stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects, providing operational support and expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
- Proven experience in a payroll environment, with a strong understanding of PAYE, SMP, SPP, SSP, Student Loans, Pensions, and other deductions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Recognised payroll qualification (CIPP or equivalent) would be desirable.
