Microbiome Analysis Director

We are seeking an experienced Microbiome Analysis Director to join our team in the Cambridgeshire area. As a key member of our Informatics team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and maintaining our competitive position in microbiome bioinformatics.
Your key responsibilities will include leading the Informatics team, providing strategic direction from a scientific standpoint, and representing the company externally. You will also be responsible for leading the development and implementation of bioinformatic capabilities and analyzing key omic datasets, including clinical trials.
Requirements:
- Extensive industry experience in bioinformatics and strong knowledge of coding
- A working knowledge and practical experience with cloud computing technologies and infrastructure, particularly AWS
- Relevant degree in bioinformatics, genomics, microbiology, or a related field
Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
