Contracts Manager

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of 4 local schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 9 direct middle managers, ensuring the contract's KPIs are met, and maintaining a strong customer relationship.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a team of 9 direct middle managers, providing support and career advancement opportunities.
  2. Monitor and meet the contract's KPIs, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  3. Oversee subcontractors, ensuring they work to a high standard and complete jobs on time.
  4. Minimize fines and seek cost-effective services from subcontractors.
  5. Maximize profits while minimizing risk.
  6. Manage planned and reactive work, as well as project, lifecycle, and variation work.
  7. Implement a robust asset management system using the CAFM system.
Requirements:
  1. Experience managing contracts with a turnover of £2m+.
  2. Experience in managing an FM operations team on a TFM contract.
  3. Desirable experience in complex contracts or public sector clients.
  4. Desirable experience in PFI contracts.
  5. Strong communication and motivational skills.
  6. Friendly and professional attitude, able to work with customers and assert themselves as required.
