Director of Epidemiology and Real-World Evidence

About the Role
ViiV Healthcare is a global leader in the fight against HIV, and we are seeking a highly skilled Director of Epidemiology and Real-World Evidence to join our team. As a key member of our Global Medical Sciences department, you will be responsible for developing and executing epidemiology and real-world evidence strategies to support the safety and effectiveness of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute epidemiology and real-world evidence strategies to meet the safety and effectiveness needs of our products
- Partner with senior leaders and colleagues across R&D, Safety, Medical Affairs, and Commercial to identify evidence needs and design and deliver appropriate studies
- Collaborate with academic partners, NGOs, and public health bodies to advance our understanding of HIV and develop effective treatments
- Lead the planning, documentation, and dissemination of epidemiology and real-world evidence strategies for multiple pipeline ViiV assets and development programs
Requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field
- 3+ years of post-graduate experience in epidemiology, with a strong track record of developing and executing epidemiology and real-world evidence strategies
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, or public health, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
