Conference Producer

We are seeking a skilled Conference Producer to join our team at Multiple Brands B2B Conferences in multiple brands of emap. As a Conference Producer, you will be responsible for producing industry-leading, commercially viable repeat conferences and events.
Key Responsibilities- Research and validate new topic ideas with support from the Head of Event Content.
- Manage advisory boards and conduct detailed research with key industry figures to determine the validity of topics, key themes, format, speakers, competitor landscape, timing, price point, and location.
- Develop session formats appropriate to the demands of the delegate audience.
- Project manage the production of industry-leading events to deadline.
- Use research to brief the wider team on essential information about the key industry issues, market, and event.
- Write topical and commercially viable conference programmes.
- Invite and confirm high-level speakers that the industry wants to hear from.
- Work with marketing to create copy for emails, website, and brochures that generates enquiries and bookings.
- Prior to each event, hold briefing calls with the chairs, speakers, and panellists to confirm details of their sessions.
- At least one year of experience in producing commercial conferences.
- Proven research and analytical skills.
- Proactive and self-starter with a go-getter attitude.
- Sharp copywriting skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines and balance many tasks and people at once.
- Good communication skills to develop and maintain strong personal relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
- Clear understanding of the commercial business practices that underpin conferences.
- A full-time hybrid role with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
- A competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Bonus.
