SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a partnership SEN school in Stanley. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex and severe needs, including Autism, cerebral palsy, and PMLD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with Special Educational Needs in a care or school setting
  • Develop and maintain a calm and sensitive approach to working with children
  • Assist with personal care and moving and handling (desirable)
  • Build relationships with students and staff
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
