Job Title: Freelance Interpreter or Translator

Estimated Salary: £30-£40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description: We are seeking experienced interpreters and translators to join our team, working on a freelance basis with various clients across the UK. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, using your language skills to facilitate communication between individuals who speak different languages.

Responsibilities: As an interpreter or translator with Language Empire, you will be responsible for interpreting or translating in face-to-face, telephone, or video settings, as well as working as a translator on written materials. You will also be expected to liaise between service users and service providers, check non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence, and deal with highly confidential information.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must be fluent in English and another language, have the right to work in the UK, and be at least 21 years old. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
