The ideal candidate will have significant post-graduate experience in physiotherapy, with a strong background in clinical governance, research, and service development. As a leader in medical rehabilitation, you will be expected to manage complex caseloads, develop and implement clinical guidelines, and contribute to change management initiatives.

About the Job

This is a part-time position (34 hours per week) based at the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, with opportunities to work across various sites within the health board. As a lead physiotherapist, you will be responsible for leading training programs, supervising staff, and promoting reflective practice among colleagues.

Essential Requirements

  • Significant post-graduate experience in physiotherapy, preferably as a band 6
  • Leadership experience, including people management, teaching, and training
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including patients, staff, and external partners

Desirable Requirements

  • MCSP or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant leadership courses or qualifications
  • Active participant in relevant interest groups or forums

Salary and Benefits
