Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Physiotherapy Lead to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead a team of healthcare professionals in delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services to patients in care homes and community settings.
- To assess and treat patients with complex multi-pathologies, developing targeted treatment plans and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- To supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- To contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring they align with best practice guidelines and standards.
Requirements
- AHP qualification with relevant post-graduate experience in core areas including elderly care, respiratory, and rapid response.
- Current registration with HCPC and valid driving license with car use for work.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff members.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £54,525 per annum, plus benefits including a contributory pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
