Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist SEND provision in Kendal. This rewarding role involves supporting primary-aged students with special educational needs in a purpose-built, nurturing environment.

  1. Provide individualised support to students with a range of special educational needs.
  2. Assist in the delivery of learning activities and support with behaviour management.

About the Role:

  1. A minimum of experience working with children with additional needs is required.
  2. A proactive and flexible attitude to meet the diverse needs of students.
  3. Familiarity with PECS, Makaton, or other communication methods – training can be provided.
  4. A commitment to supporting students' emotional and academic growth.

Location: Kendal

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
