Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynecology

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics to join our dynamic team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our obstetric services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with complex obstetric needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols, ensuring that our services are evidence-based and patient-centered.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and growth.
- Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure seamless care pathways and optimal patient outcomes.
- Hold a relevant medical qualification (e.g., MBBS, MBChB) and have completed a recognized training program in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Have significant post-qualification experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with a strong track record of clinical excellence and patient care.
- Be a registered medical practitioner with the General Medical Council (GMC) and hold a valid license to practice.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and safety.
