About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Barista at University of London, Senate House. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing a high-quality beverage experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take orders, prepare beverages, and complete transactions with customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Welcome and engage with customers to ensure all needs and questions are addressed, displaying a positive attitude and thanking customers for their business.
  • Maintain a clean and organized beverage station, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Assist management with administrative tasks and daily food preparation during downtime.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of menu items, recipes, and brand specifications to effectively service customers.
Requirements
  • Previous coffee shop experience or experience in a similar high-volume environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a great team player.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think on feet.
  • DBS check required.
