Job Title: Barista and Retail Assistant

We are a small, independent retail store selling high-end homewares and offering a unique coffee experience. Our coffee counter serves specialty drinks and delicious treats, and we are looking for a skilled barista to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality beverages at a fast pace, displaying consistent and advanced latte art skills
  • Have a high level of understanding of specialty coffee and matcha drinks
  • Be able to dial in the machine daily and as often as needed throughout the shift
  • Serve customers at the till with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Help and advise customers occasionally, including ringing through retail purchases, checking stock, and providing product information
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in hospitality, with a focus on customer service
  • Advanced speciality coffee experience, including latte art and milk texture skills
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule, with fixed Fridays and Saturday or Sunday off each week
  • Availability to work weekends
  • English language proficiency
