About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supporting Children's Education Specialist to join our team at GSL Education. As a Teaching Assistant - Special Needs, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and communication skills
  • Work under the guidance of a teacher to support small groups of pupils with learning tasks
  • Create a supportive and nurturing environment where the needs of all children are met
  • Safeguarding will be your number one priority, ensuring the welfare of the pupils
  • Work with KS1 and 2 aged pupils

Requirements:

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
