Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic HR team at Stour Bay Partnership Ltd, a growing international law firm. The role offers a unique blend of recruitment and onboarding responsibilities, providing a chance to make a real impact on the firm's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Support the Recruitment Manager in the full recruitment cycle, including CV screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Manage the recruitment process, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all tasks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, ensuring diverse shortlists for new vacancies.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and other recruitment activities.
  • Track interview data and provide insights for monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Administer the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and manage applications and vacancies.
  • Assist in collecting interview feedback and developing talent pools for business services roles.

Onboarding

  • Create employment contracts and ensure timely and accurate data entry into HR systems.
  • Manage the full onboarding process, providing a seamless candidate experience for new hires.
  • Coordinate external background screening, visa processes, and relocation arrangements.
  • Partner with hiring managers and partners to ensure timely and effective communication throughout the onboarding process.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, including coordination of induction schedules and preparation of employment documentation.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience working in in-house legal recruitment or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of managing recruitment administration and processes.
  • Ideal degree-level education or equivalent.
  • CIPD qualified or interested in working towards.
  • Experience working with people data and databases, such as Workday and/or AllHires, is a distinct advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Able to manage own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a busy team environment.
