Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Hardware Specialist to join our team at a busy warehouse in Rugby. As an IT Hardware Specialist, you will be responsible for unboxing computer hardware, making changes such as upgrades, swapping out components, and configuring software.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, long-term agency contract with an immediate start. The role is based on a Monday to Friday afternoon shift, and you will be working in a manual, active environment. You will be responsible for configuring computer hardware and software, as well as performing other tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unbox and configure computer hardware
- Make changes to software, including upgrades and component swaps
- Configure networking and user accounts
- Work in a manual, active environment
Requirements:
- Recent paid experience working with computer hardware or software
- Confidence in a manual, active role
- Local to Rugby or willing to travel
What We Offer:
- £12.55 per hour starting salary
- 40 hours paid per week, with 5 shifts guaranteed
- Weekly pay via SolviT Recruitment
- Overtime paid at an enhanced rate after 12 weeks
- Job security, with the opportunity to lead to a permanent role
