Senior Staff Nurse Adult

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in delivering systematic anti-cancer therapy (SACT). You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to patients receiving chemotherapy and their relatives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver expert, patient-centered care to patients receiving chemotherapy and their relatives.
- Manage a caseload of patients and be responsible for safe chemotherapy delivery in accordance with national and trust guidelines.
- Take direct managerial responsibility for the clinical area in the absence of or as delegated by the Unit Manager/Nurse in Charge/Head of Department.
- Assist in the leadership and development of an identified group of nurses within the unit.
- Act as a clinical resource within the unit and across the Care Group as necessary.
We are looking for an experienced and skilled nurse who has:
1st level Registered General Nurse qualification.Mentorship programme or equivalent teaching qualification.Completion of a recognised SACT course and/or UKONS SACT Passport.Further professional studies relevant to the clinical area.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression.
