Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Decarbonization Specialist to contribute to Arm Limited's response to the climate crisis.

This role is pivotal in delivering Arm's climate change strategy, driving decarbonization across the organization, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

As a Decarbonization Specialist, you will be part of our Sustainability team, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead operational decarbonization initiatives, partnering with teams across functions to design and develop tools, processes, and methodologies for carbon reduction.
  • Develop and manage processes to embed climate risk disclosure and reporting, including ownership of CFD and incoming ISSB and SEC Climate regulations.
  • Lead CDP (Climate) and SECR reporting, as well as climate input for ESG reporting, including GRI and incoming CSRD and CSDDD regulations.
  • Develop credible methodologies to track and communicate sustainability-related improvements and progress.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in an environmental sustainability role, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Leadership and project management skills, with experience working in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of current and incoming climate change reporting regulations.
  • Broad knowledge of climate change issues and the ability to translate theory into practice in a corporate context.
Education & Qualifications:

A relevant environmental degree or equivalent qualification, or significant experience in the field.
