Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Microwave Electronics Engineer to join our team in the Antenna Core Delivery Team. As a Microwave Electronics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and testing of microwave printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies for various defense and space projects. Your expertise in microwave engineering will contribute to the advancement of our cutting-edge products and enhance our customers' mission-critical capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop microwave PCB assemblies by analyzing system requirements and specifications
  2. Conduct concept feasibility studies and evaluate design alternatives to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  3. Conduct detailed simulations and modeling to verify the performance of your microwave circuit designs
  4. Test and troubleshoot your microwave designs to identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies
  5. Generate technical reports and documentation to communicate design methodologies, analyses, and test results
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate your microwave assembly into our Electronically Scanned Antenna/Radar products
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in microwave technologies and incorporate new methodologies into our design processes
  8. Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and materials
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  2. Proven experience in microwave PCB design, preferably in frequencies up to or above X-Band
  3. Proficiency in using CAD tools for microwave design, such as Keysight ADS, Microwave Office, or CST Microwave Studio
  4. Strong knowledge of microwave components and devices, such as amplifiers, attenuators, limiters, circulators, switches, etc.
  5. Experience using microwave test equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
  6. Solid understanding of electromagnetic field theory and transmission line theory
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet tight deadlines
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
