About the Opportunity

This Department Manager role is a permanent position at B&Q Wellingborough, working 36.75 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will be a positive and hands-on individual with experience in customer service and trade. They will be eager to bring their own ideas to the table and expand their skills using new technology.

Responsibilities

  • To create a store within a store, setting standards, coming up with ideas, and finding fresh ways to make the team and department the best they can be.
  • To keep customer service levels high and use building and trade knowledge to spot opportunities to help customers with their biggest projects.

Key Requirements

  • Able to cover store opening hours on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Experience in motivating, engaging, and pulling together a team as one.
