**Depot Operations Manager**

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Depot Operations Manager to join our team at GAP Ltd. As a leading provider of low-maintenance building plastics, we specialise in supplying trade-quality products to the building industry and domestic customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of our depot, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our products and services.
- Lead and motivate a team of depot operatives, providing guidance, training, and ongoing support to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and distribution to ensure adequate stock availability and timely order fulfilment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the building merchant, building plastics or construction industry.
- A valid driver's license.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
- Knowledge of building plastics and related products.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
