About the Role

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to adults with a wide range of health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full clinical caseload, providing timely assessments and care planning for patients with complex needs.
  • Work closely with the therapy team and wider multidisciplinary team to provide rehabilitation services, including personal care, kitchen assessments, access visits, home visits, and therapy discharges.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's goals, needs, and preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs, ensuring they are evidence-based and meet the needs of our patients.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Postgraduate education in a relevant field, such as client group-specific training.
  • Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, with a focus on adult services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to travel to undertake work and carry equipment relative to the post.
