Community Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Community Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team. This full-time contract offers a unique blend of work-from-home flexibility, a manageable caseload, and opportunities for further training and professional growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users and their carers to identify complex needs related to home environments.
  • Provide expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications to enhance independence and quality of life.
  • Develop and implement adaptations, moving and handling assessments, and strategies to reduce or minimize the need for care packages.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of safeguarding vulnerable individuals and uphold the importance of dignity and respect in all interactions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a community setting.
  • Manual handling experience and proficiency.
  • HCPC Registration and Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and Occupational Therapist Qualification.
