Registered Nurse Role in Essex

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Essex, working in a small nursing home that supports adults with physical disabilities and complex healthcare needs.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a key responsibility for the nursing administration and assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will provide leadership to the care staff, ensuring that service users receive a high standard of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing advice and support to the multi-disciplinary team caring for service users, especially within the residential home.
  • Undertake quality standards monitoring and clinical audit system for care of service users with physical disabilities.
  • Act as a role model in the clinical setting, demonstrating the delivery of evidence-based, client-centred care to service users with physical disabilities with or without a learning disability.
  • Lead a team and supervise care staff.
Requirements
  • Active NMC pin (RGN).
  • At least one year's clinical experience within a care home / nursing home setting.
  • Up-to-date clinical and nursing knowledge.
  • Ability to work on a shift basis, working 40 hours per week.
