About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Specialist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of patients undergoing haemodialysis and renal care.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practice guidelines.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a background in acute renal settings and haemodialysis.
  • Specialist course in Renal Medicine and preparation for mentorship or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ward management, prioritisation, and problem-solving.
  • Able to work flexibly to meet service requirements, including shift rotation and extended hours as needed.
