About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at Direct Line Group Auto Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the workflow of job cards meets volume targets and identifying fast track repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within site guidelines to ensure accurate parts orders and follow purchase procedures
  • Review repair methodologies to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with policyholders and Direct Line Group engineering functions for borderline repairable or beyond economical repair vehicles
  • Provide service level agreements and ensure customers are contacted regarding repairs and non-related damage
  • Ensure Health and Safety regulations and company procedures are followed
  • Embed standard methodology and lean activities as instructed by business strategy

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of vehicle repair methods
  • Thatcham repair methods, Audatex, and ATA qualification
  • Ability to achieve company and personal targets
