Golf Operations Assistant

Arora Group is seeking a highly skilled Golf Operations Assistant to support the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager in all aspects of daily golf operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager with daily golf operations, ensuring seamless execution of events and activities.

Provide exceptional customer service to members and their guests, upholding the club's vision and mission statement.

Pro Shop Management:

Assist the Golf Operations Manager with inventory management, merchandising, and pricing.

Coordinate purchasing and receiving of shop items and customer orders.

Participate in monthly stock takes and perform club repairs and fittings.

Competition Support:

Assist the Director of Golf with planning, organizing, and executing club competitions.

Liaise with other departments to promote and ensure smooth operations.

Enter scores, process fees, and finalize all competitions.

General Tasks & Miscellaneous:

Demonstrate flexibility in carrying out reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Display behavior that sets an example for other employees.

Comply with reasonable requests from hierarchical supervisors within normal timeframes.

Human Resources & Training:

Treat members and colleagues with respect and sensitivity.

Attend trainings and meetings as required.

Maintain impeccable standards of appearance and grooming.

Report any harassment or discrimination incidents.

Confidentiality:

Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of intellectual property and data.

Maintain confidentiality of member and staff information or transactions.

Physical aspects of the position include frequent standing, walking, and occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 25kgs.

Frequent computer usage and working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
