Purchase Ledger Assistant Vacancy

We are seeking a part-time Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our accounts department at Fred. Olsen Limited in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good time management skills, and be IT literate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily posting of bank transactions for Fred. Olsen Limited and Forrest Estate
  • Bank reconciliations for Fred. Olsen Limited and Forrest Estate
  • Run daily bank reports and input bank transfers
  • Issuing monthly exchange rates
  • Assisting with purchase ledgers for Fred. Olsen Limited, Forrest Estate, and Fred. Olsen JV
  • Run weekly BACS payments
  • Assisting with credit card transactions
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required
Working Hours:

This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, 9am-1pm). We prefer two mornings to be 8:30am-12:30pm due to the role's requirements.
