Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the CAMHS Enhanced Treatment Team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be responsible for working with children and adolescents with severe attachment difficulties, emerging personality disorders, and repeated self-harm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the multidisciplinary team to develop the Enhanced Treatment sub-team and provide consultation services
  • Assessing and managing children and adolescents with complex mental health needs, including direct clinical involvement and supervision of cases
  • Providing a comprehensive assessment and evidence-based interventions for acutely mentally ill children and adolescents
  • Contributing to the development of new models of service to improve delivery and outcome

As part of this role, you will also contribute to the Brent CAMHS senior management group and participate in leadership activities within the CAMHS- ED service line.

Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 per year (inclusive of £2,162 London Weighting)
