Position Overview

As a GFX Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will oversee the upkeep of all assigned GFX Equipment to meet Naval Harbour Acceptance Trial (HAT) Standards, ensuring compliance with both Unit Maintenance Management System (UMMS) and Non-UMMS protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure GFX equipment and infrastructure in accordance with RFMS to fulfill the requirements of the Trials Programme.
  • Maintain all designated GFX equipment following UMMS, BRs, JSPs, and OEM guidelines.
  • Guarantee that GFX is safe, operational, and properly configured for daily trials scheduled on RFMS.
  • Collaborate with Combat Systems Engineers, teams, and clients to provide expert support and maintenance presence during trials, including fault diagnosis, defect resolution, equipment reconfiguration, and monthly System Operator Checks as directed by the Operations Team.
  • Manage and investigate GFX defects in line with relevant documentation, logging defects on RFMS, updating them regularly, and keeping the Operations Team informed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in a maintenance role specifically focused on Communication Systems is required.
