As a Maintenance Engineer at QinetiQ, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our Graphic Facilities Equipment (GFX) in accordance with Naval Harbour Acceptance Trial (HAT) standards. This includes maintenance in accordance with the Unit Maintenance Management System (UMMS) and Non-UMMS maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure GFX equipment and infrastructure in accordance with RFMS requirements to meet the needs of the Trials Programme.
  • Perform maintenance on assigned GFX equipment in accordance with UMMS, BRs, JSPs, and OEM handouts.
  • Ensure GFX equipment is safe, maintained, available, and configured for daily trials booked on RFMS.
  • Collaborate with Combat Systems Engineers, Teams, and Customers to provide support, SME advice, and Maintainer presence for trials requiring assistance, including in-situ support.
  • Manage and investigate GFX defects in accordance with relevant documentation, registering defects on RFMS and updating them regularly.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a Maintenance role specifically on Communication Systems.
