Job Title: Specialist Support Advocate

Job Summary:

The West Brom is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Support Advocate to join our team. As a Specialist Support Advocate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to individuals who are vulnerable or potentially vulnerable. You will strive to achieve good outcomes that take into consideration individual needs and circumstances, while operating efficiently and within regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a first-class, empathetic service to internal and external customers.
  • Be an advocate for change, with the customer at the heart of all that we do.
  • Proactively manage accounts through core systems to achieve appropriate solutions for customers.
  • Liaise with third parties as required.
  • Ensure delegated tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Contribute to the requirements of the Society's Risk Framework by escalating identified risks.
  • Comply with the Rules, Evidential Provisions, and Guidance within the FCA's Mortgage Conduct of Business (MCOB).
  • Take ownership of your continuous performance improvement plan and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Fully PC literate and up to date with core Microsoft applications.
  • Be adaptable, agile, and innovative.
  • High standard of attention to detail, high level of personal motivation, and initiative.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to understand complex matters and make informed decisions.
  • Aware of personal impact on individuals and different scenarios.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with a variety of audiences.
  • Maintain effective and up-to-date administration records.
  • Ability to respond positively to working within a pressurised environment.
